Dungeon Runners

Unknown-1

Role-Playing Games are very popular here in the Philippines, in fact most internet cafes earn more in these video games. I for one was an addict of MMORPGs, I have played Ragnarok, Flyff, Conquer and etc. People will ask, “what makes it so addictive?” from time to time. As a gamer myself, the most addictive type of role-playing games are those that introduce player-kill (PK) modes and player versus player (PVP) arenas. The interaction with lots of people makes it fun to defeat their characters with your very own character. That victory will gain you the “fame” that you can hardly achieve in real life. It will make you feel powerful and strong, wanting for more with each victory that you achieve. The thrill, the bloopers and the new found friends add spice to your gaming experience.

Just like the new MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) I discovered on the net: the “Dungeon Runners.” Dungeon Runners is a fantasy based video game where you can play as a hero (whether as a Fighter, Mage or Ranger), fight monsters and explore exciting magical places. Make friends and team up with them in a quest. In the game, players can have their own Bling Gnome that has the ability to eat unwanted things and turn them into gold. That means you don’t have to pick up items manually and sell them for gold by yourself. Tricky and creative, I say! ^_^. The best part is that you can download the game for free! ^_^ Isn’t that great?!

For gamers like me and who’s interested, what are you waiting for? Download the game now!

Gundam Battle Assault 3

June 27th, 2008 | Category: Game Reviews

Gundam Battle Assault 3 Featuring Mobile Suit Gundam Seed

Duke it out with over 20 different mobile suits in the latest edition of Gundam Battle Assault. This action game features all the mobile suits found in the hit TV series along with a few secret units. You can play as Kira Yamato in the Story Mode, or battle out with a pal in the multiplayer mode. The in-game graphics are now in 3D, and the awesome graphics do the Gundams justice. You’ll recognize some of the voice-overs as the same voice actors in the anime. The battles can be quite fun, although I’ve noticed that the levels are either too easy, or a bit too difficult, but never just right. Still, the battle system is pretty simple and easy to master. If you like beam sword-slashing and beam-slinging action, or if you’re a die-hard fan of Gundam, then this game is for you!

Honda Accord Commercial

Big hit cars requires big hit ads, like the New Honda Accord! Honda Company wanted to make their “one of the best car ever created” to be in a big bang!, that’s why they made an expensive TV commercial on it, “Jump”. Believe it or not, 45 professional skydivers were hired to form series of figures sky high to show the quality and integrity of the Honda Accord. Though huh?! What others say “Difficult is worth doing.”

Watching the video really makes me feel amazed, I can’t imagine that these drivers can really use their passion on advertising cars. Very creative as well as unique. I salute Honda on making such cool cars and advertisement too!

On the video you will see skydivers planning on their moves and forms in air and practicing them on an Unlimited Time Tunnel. You can really see that these skydivers are really gifted and talented. This kinda sports gives me chills! And yet they do it just like basketball, having fun and all, never think the danger. Death defying I say!

Asian Bites

June 25th, 2008 | Category: Anime

Avatar The Last Airbender is heavily  influenced by Asian culture. Here’s a couple of tasty tidbits on the actual Asian mythology that inspired the story of Aang.

-The word Avatar comes from the Sanskrit word avatara, which means “decent”. In Indian mythology, Avatars are devine figures who take human form to restore peace and harmony to the mortal world. The most famouse Hindu Avatar was Rama, who was the mortal form of Vishnu the Preserver.

-To test if he is really the Avatar, Aang is made to choose four special toys out of thousands. All other Avatars before him chose the same four toys as he does, which  is proof that he is a true Avatar. This is the same method Buddhist monks use to test if a young boy is their next Dalai Lama or spiritual leader.

-In Indian mythology, the classic elements are Fire(Agni), Water(Ap), Earht(Bhoomi), Wind(Vayu), plus a special element known as Ether(Akaash). In Avatar, the Agni Kai is a special duel of fire practiced by the Fire Nation, and a man named King Bhoomi is the leader if the Earth Kingdom.

-The Chinese calligraphy above the Avatar logo means “the divine medium who has descended upon the mortal world.”

Almost Forgotten

June 19th, 2008 | Category: E-Journal

Because of busy days and tough schedules, I totally forgot that just yesterday was my Nephew Ezekun’s 5th Month! It really felt like Ezekun was born last month. Arrgh, time really flies when you have fun. Well anyways, I just want to greet him belated 5th month and I really wish I could get him to some places like disney world, San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park and stay in Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. Guess I have to dream on and hope that it’ll happen. Who knows, maybe God will allow it. ^_^

Breakthrough on Ezekiel’s development: Ezekun can now stand on his feet with support, he can also roll over on the bed, plays with toys and imitates mommy’s singing. All the required vaccines were done. And praise God, no abnormalities for baby Ezekun. Best wishes for baby zekun and her mom.

Accounting Friend

June 19th, 2008 | Category: E-Journal

I saw my friend this morning, he was sitting on the bench studying something. I decided to approach him just to spend some spare time, then I asked him what he was reading about. He said he was reading something about Accounting firms and strategy for international taxes. I was really suprised by him, I mean back when we were just highschool, he really doesn’t show any interest about business and accounting stuffs. But now I can really see the difference! He talked to me with strong determination and zeal on his eyes! He really showed me something.

I can really relate to him, because I myself don’t want to be an engineering student. But as time goes on, I have learned to like it. Even if it is really hard for me to pass some subjects but I’m still there, standing, standing at the edge of the earth ^_^ amf. Btw, I learned from him that I can challenge my weaknesses and overcome them. With the help of my family and friends and especially to God my savior, nothing is impossible.

Dream talk

June 18th, 2008 | Category: E-Journal

It is now school time again which also mean that I have to meet my aquaintances again. Just yesterday, I met my friend again on a P.E. class. Fortunately, both of us have no classes and now waiting for the next class. While waiting, we had this very weird talk. We talked about, what would we be on the next 10 years… At first the conversation was realistic, me be an engineer and he would be a business man. And then suddenly it went fantasy! He said to me that I will be a Doctor in Engineering and the head of an Engineer Company (wow! I can’t even be a dean’s list). Then I said to him that he will be a CEO, and then Dennis C Carey will recruit him of one of the greatest company. Weird huh?!?

We stared blankly together at the sky and thought if it would be possibe. ^_^ Nah, it’ll happen if God allows it anyway ^_^
