Electrical Dream

// November 29th, 2009 // Comments Off // E-Journal

To be an Electrical Engineer was my dream when I was just a little kid. Whenever my grade school teacher ask for my dream, I would boastfully say -” I want to be an Electrical Engineer. ” Without knowing, of course, that it wouldn’t be a piece of cake for an average kid like me…

The moment I reached high school, that dream  faded away. My interests  were changed and were far too different from what I dreamed to be. I was drifted to computer games, music, anime, and art. Math, which is the most crucial element of the coarse, was neglected at all.

But something changed the moment I reached the last year of high school. I was exposed to friends and people who are good at Math. I  tried to deal with it little by little and it turned out that math wasn’t that bad that all. I was beginning to like it and studied it even more.

After I graduated, I coincidentally took the coarse and happen to remember that it was my childhood dream after all. I took the challenge, and right now I am on the climax of my coarse. Just two years more and I will be able to fulfill that childhood dream… It is not that easy to be an Engineer, its responsibility is like that of a doctors’. One false move, and it will be all over.  That’s why I’m planning not to work on the field and instead go for managing or programming. And a master  on computer applications would be perfect after I graduate. You may be wondering why computer applications… Well, I happen to love sitting on my computer (do blogging) and electrical engineering is related to computers. It would be great if you’re working and doing your passion at the same time. In that way, you won’t get easily bored on your job.

I know that trials will be on the way, but I wont let it be a reason  not finish school… I just hope everything will turn out well. And I hope that I will be happy on this choice I made.
