Damyo Experience (Damn You ^_^)

Damyo - that’s what we call in bisayan dialec, the bridge passengers pass from ship to port. I don’t know what it is called in English, but I kinda like it in bisayan… You know what I mean ^_^ (Damn you)…

It was really amazing!!!… The first time I ever ride a passenger boat to Cebu City was quite not so pleasant and normal the way others should have, but it was amazing!!!

It was sunday in the afternoon around 2:00 pm when I just badly felt the need of a sunglasses for my trip to Cebu, cuz I know that the scourging heat will be my first adversary there. So I decided to accompany my mom on doing the groceries at the mall and at the same time looking for the perfect sunglasses for me. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find one and I was already out of schedule at that time. The plan was 4:00 pm to leave Iligan for a 2-hour trip to CDO… Assuming I would arrive at 7:00 pm at the pier, an hour advance before the boat departs. But it didn’t turn out to be that smooth, I was able to leave home at 5:00 pm, so that’s already an hour late of schedule… the tension was already there, the family of bears was already worried that I might miss the boat… All the thoughts came up to me, all the great opportunities that I might miss, and most importantly the SEP camp.

When I got to CDO terminal, I immediatey call the cab outside and paid him extra just to hurry me up to the pier. Luckily, the moment I got there… the moment I passed throught the damyo, it was immediately set up, anchors are up, and the boat just proppelled away. It was really amazing to know that I was the only person I think the boat was waiting to sail…

That was really a great experience for a first time… It was a hell exhausting running around the pier, asking where would I go to find my ride. In the end it was a great blessing I could travel to serve SEP. ^_^

“First Times”

Just got back home this morning from all of my first times… I really didn’t expect that this year of my life would be so much fun, even though there were exhaustions I experienced during camp, but still I would say it was the best thing that happened to my life … I wouldn’t be telling the full details of my first times but I will be posting them in the future one by one.

Here it goes: It was my first time to go to Davao City, first time to do Zip line and catwalk there (very scary), first time to be the Asst. Counselor of dorm 2B, first time to ride a passenger boat, first time to go to Cebu city, first time to go Alegria Cebu, first time to ever get injured by a sea urchin(miss my friend), first time to go to Dumaguete city, Valencia and Cebulan. That was a lot of first time huh? ^_^hekhekl

I really wouln’t regret that I went to those great trips, with my friends reunited again from the school of hard knocks! ^_^ All the funny moments together, all the “baga og nawong” stuff we did on those places, and all the crying time, hahaha!… Hope I could meet them again soon, I really miss them now… Guys!, you were such a blessing to me! I love you! Ahhh cheesy! JAI HO!!!

Going to CAMP

And again… I’m going to our church youth camp… This is going to be my 5th year on camp but this time it is going to be different. The past 4 years of camp, I was a happy camper but now I’m an excited assistant counselor!… I was planning to still be a camper but Ate Chang suddenly called my sister to sign me up for an assistant. I didn’t have enough money to be camper, so I accepted the offer. Maybe I’m old enough to be camper, that’s why she called me T_T(I’m gonna be 19 his year)…

Well anyways, I am preparing myself to be a good assistant counselor even though I haven’t got a chance to join the training session. I’m sure it’s going to be a tough one, but I know God will be on my side… I’m gonna be expecting to have at least 1 camper being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ… I’m also preparing some good yells to introduce to my campers… Hehehe I’m so excited. I can’t wait… It’ll be this coming April 30 but I’ll be going to Davao in advance, I guess for preparation… Wish me luck guys… And I guess I’ll be off for a 5 day camp… ^_^

It’s Great to get Busy

Look at that! My last post is March 26!, it’s like almost a month gap to this post… If I keep doing this laziness, I’m sure I’ll end up saying goodbye to ezekun.com. Huhuh, but I won’t let that happen. It just turned one, and I have no plans on letting go.

Anyways, the reasons why I got so busy for almost 30 days is because of Ezekun Internet. Yep! My dad used his retirement money for investment, and he chose to invest a small internet cafe… It is not something to boast to because it has only 5 units, and we placed them just right outside our house. So basically our costumers are just our neighbors… For 1 week from openning, it turned out pretty well… We made the expected target and I hope it’ll be more than what we expect in the future…

My parents are unable to do all the job at the business, because they have something to do too and my dad is still recovering from his stroke, so my sisters and I are the ones running the business… We have tought some possible strategies to make the business successful, and thought some alternatives if it won’t turn out well… We also provide junkies and drinks for sale to make the costumers refreshed too. Hehehe… If you want to try our Internet Cafe you can always come here. ^_^ We’ll be open from 8am- 11pm…

Even though there were times that I planned not to renew this website, but fortunately Ate Ann renewed it already before I told her not to… I’m sure there is a great purpose of that… Anyways, I’m happy and at the same time fullfilled to say Happy 1st Year of blogging Ezekun.com! I promise to be with you as long as I can… ^_^

My Favorite Theme

This was my first theme when I started blogging… I don’t know why I liked this theme, but all I know that I was attracted to it the very first I saw it on Mukka-mu’s blog. Maybe because of the very perfect orientation it has, or the perfect color combination it shows… I think both suited my interests, that’s why I keep on using this theme. Even though there were times that I keep on changing, but it all ended up going back to Mush Blue3. Yep!, that is its name, isn’t it cute? Hehehehehe… Ezekun.com is my first blog, and its clothes is Mush Blue 3… This coming March 20th, ezekun and I will be celebrating of its 1st year of blogging… Very touching! Can’t believe to survive on blogging for 1 one year… It’s not 20 yet so better save the words for this friday ^_^…

If you can still see this picture from my previous post, I guess you already know what this post is all about… Hmmm… And again, I’m in study-mode. Just awhile ago, I’ve been studying, and reviewing my Probabilty and Stat subject for tomorrow’s long quiz. This is also in preparation for my final exam next thursday. I am really in serious danger on this subject, that’s why I’m so into it these past weeks. I just hope that my effort will pay off, and I will jump for joy when I’m going to pass the subject. Same goes for my classmates. GOGOGO!

ProbStat isn’t the only subject that I’m worried about, I still have my Calculus III and General Physics III to deal with. But fortunately, only my ProbStat is in danger. Crossed My Fingers ^_^!!!

White Beach + Snorkeling

If you have read my previous post, My first adventure of this year was in Lawis. That was on January… for this March’s adventure, my friends and I went to the white beach for snorkeling… Actually snorkeling wasn’t our idea, it was an activity on my PE class. But because of our great number in class, our teacher couldn’t handle us in the sea at once. So basically, snorkeling wasn’t just the thing we did back there…

Our teacher first grouped us into 4 groups… unexpectedly we were the last one… It would take hours for a group to finish, so what we did… we went to the beach and do cheer dancing stuffs… That was really fun, especially when you could reach high above and do silly sunts… Of course we couln’t do perfect stunts, but that doesn’t matter anymore epsecially when there is so much excitement in it ^_^…

After long hours of wait and a great lunch, our turn is finally here… We were finally ready for snorkeling after we did the warm ups… A couple of briefing before the big swim.

I wish I could post some pictures of what I saw under sea with all the corals and stuffs, but unfortunately we don’t have any water proof camera T_T… But I’m just going to tell you anyway… Colorful stones and corals are seen under there, that’s with colorful fishes too! First time I saw a school of blue fishes… That was really cool… But the most interesting thing I saw there was the sea snake. It was so swift and scary… I thought it would attack us, because whenever you go near, it tries to retaliate… That was really memorable… When our turn was almost done, we dove under sea (leaving our vest floating) and took some colorful stones and shells…

That adventure was really cool, how I wish I could go back there again… ^_^

Midterms is almost there

Didn’t really noticed that much that midterms is already this monday. Time flies to fast, I wish it could be slower. I’m not ready yet, I’m not in my mind set to study and take the exam… But I have to, there’s no choice. If I don’t, I’ll surely fail and repeat the subject again. Nobody wants to fail, that’s for sure…

I’ve already ask my classmates to have a group study this friday, and they all agreed, but the problem is where to find a place to study. We have to talk about it though… As for my exams next week, they are, Caculus and geometry III, Physics on Static Charge, Probability and Stat, and Material Science. They sure are my hardest subject this semister and I’m already shaken by the previous prelim exam. I’m hoping to score this time, as well as for my classmates.
